An off white, almost yellow, fabric ribbon in a long vertical rectangle with a small metal disk with spiked edged pinned to the top centre. The ribbon read, in red text, Federated Timber Workers Union.

Federated Timber Workers

The Australian Timber Workers’ Union was registered in 1918 after the deregistration of the Amalgamated Timber Workers’ Union of Australia.

The new union extended coverage to workers in box and case factories, saw makers’ shops, joiners’ workshops, carpenters, implement workers and wood working machinists.
