Democracy in Action is project that asks: what would South Australia look like if 16 and 17 year old citizens could vote on the policies that directly affect their lives?

Are you 16 or 17 years old and know your voice is important?

Or do you know any 16 and 17 year olds with a desire to be heard?

Democracy in Action is project that asks: what would South Australia look like if 16 and 17 year old citizens could vote on the policies that directly affect their lives?

On Election Day – Saturday 17 March, 1-3pm – at the Centre of Democracy on North Terrace you are invited to participate in a simulated vote. You will be given the opportunity to experience voting in a realistic setting, complete with a sausage sizzle and a video soap box to capture your ideas and thoughts about democracy today, and your role in it.
